ETHOS

We strive to establish a caring environment that fosters children’s learning and play, building foundations for a solid and secure future. We achieve this through inspirational practice and creative experiences that encourage our stars to strive for excellence and reach their full potential.

SETTING INFORMATION

Stars Preschool Woodston was re-registered (previously Woodston Nursery) in January 2017 as a 48 place pre-school catering for children aged from 2 years to 5 years. The pre-school operates from within the grounds of Woodston Primary School, from Monday to Friday, term time only. Full and part time places are offered. Parents can choose for their children to attend from 9-12 or 12-3, or all day 9am-3pm. We also offer an extra hour (8-9am) for parents who may need an earlier start. When there is sufficient demand we can also extend our afternoon session and offer a 3-4pm slot. We operate from two rooms. The Caterpillar Room caters for children aged 2 years and over and the Butterfly Room caters for children preparing for school. Children learn in a stimulating environment, both inside and out, where they are challenged, encouraged and where a love of learning is fostered through play.
